Advisory Regarding The Extension of Due Dates For GST Returns

As per Notifications No. 11/2023 ÔÇô Central Tax, 12/2023 Central Tax, and 13/2023 ÔÇô Central Tax, all dated 24th May 2023, the government has granted an extension for the due date of filing GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-7 for the tax period of April 2023.

Advisory Regarding The Extension of Due Dates For GST Returns.

As per Notifications No. 11/2023 – Central Tax, 12/2023 Central Tax, and 13/2023 – Central Tax, all dated 24th May 2023, the government has granted an extension for the due date of filing GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-7 for the tax period of April 2023. 

This extension applies to all taxpayers with their principal place of business located in the state of Manipur, allowing them to file their returns until 31st May 2023.

The changes mentioned have been put into effect on the GST Portal starting from 27th May 2023.

If taxpayers have filed their returns before 27th May 2023 and paid late fees, those fees will be credited to their ledgers. Any interest amounts that are displayed in the subsequent return can be corrected by the taxpayers themselves, as it is an editable field.
