Nationwide Raids by Income Tax Department Investigate Financial Transactions and Compliance at Trident Group

On October 17, the Income Tax Department launched raids at Trident Group, according to sources. These raids are being conducted across the country and are not limited to a single location. 

Authorities are simultaneously investigating multiple cities. ANI has been informed by officials that over 40 officers are currently participating in the raid at the Budhni plant situated in Madhya Pradesh.

This operation covers multiple locations connected to the founders and high-ranking executives of the Trident Group.

The Trident Group, established during the early years of India's economic liberalization, has expanded its presence in various industries.

As time passed, the group broadened its business portfolio to encompass paper, chemicals, energy, and other sectors.

These income tax raids aim to reveal information about the financial dealings and records of the Trident Group, as authorities work to ensure compliance with tax laws.
