Income Tax Raids On a Youtuber From UP Earns Rs. 1 Crore Through Videos
The income tax department conducted a raid on the home of YouTuber Taslim in Uttar Pradesh. Taslim is accused of earning nearly Rs 1 crore through illicit YouTube videos on share market trading.
An Uttar Pradesh-based YouTuber has accumulated a sum of Rs 1 crore through his videos, which led to an income tax raid being conducted at his residence.
The raid resulted in the discovery of Rs. 24 lakhs in cash. Taslim, the individual under investigation, has been operating a YouTube channel for several years and is suspected of earning money through illicit means, an allegation that his family denies.
According to Taslim's brother, Feroze, who resides in Bareilly, UP, Taslim creates videos pertaining to the stock market and diligently pays his income tax. Feroze stated that his brother is responsible for managing the YouTube account 'Trading Hub 3.0'.
According to Feroze, they have already fulfilled their tax obligations by paying Rs. 4 lakhs on their overall YouTube earnings of Rs. 1.2 crore.
"We engage in legitimate activities and generate a substantial income through our YouTube channel. This is the truth. The raid conducted on us is a premeditated scheme," Feroze asserted.
Additionally, Taslim's mother asserts that her son is being unjustly implicated. The YouTube channel 'Trading Hub 3.0' was established in September 2018 and has accumulated a total of 45 lakh views over the course of its existence.
Taslim also operates a Hindi channel named Logic_Trading on YouTube, which has approximately 41,000 subscribers. As a result of the income tax raid conducted at his residence, a sum of Rs 24 lakh in cash and some gold were seized.
According to the income tax department, Taslim's bank accounts revealed numerous inconsistencies and irregularities.
