New Guidelines for Air Travelers: Limits Set for Carrying Cash and Gold Jewelry
New Rules for Air Passengers traveling to the UAE: Travelers to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) need to be aware of certain regulations. When bringing valuable items, such as cash, gold jewelry, or diamonds, there is a set limit for luggage. Residents and visitors in the UAE are advised not to carry more than Dh60,000 in cash or valuable items for safety reasons.
Declaration through the Afseh app
To comply with the regulations, passengers carrying jewelry or other valuable items worth Dh60,000 or more must declare this information through the Afseh app. This declaration is mandatory for passengers arriving at the airport, land border, or any entry point. The Afseh app is officially recognized by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (ICP).
